Even though the modern muscles are taking over the scene, the good old dogs like the 4th gen Camaro and SN95 Mustang still get lots of love from the enthusiasts. Sleek shape and unmistakable T-Tops with a strong 90s vibe give that feeling of nostalgia and add a certain emotional layer to each of these builds.
Our today’s feature is dedicated to a tastefully modified 1994 Chevy Camaro Z28 equipped with the top of the line 5.7L LT1 V8 – the most sought-after model for the fans of these vehicles. Unlike many cars that you see at local car shows, this one features lots of awesome performance upgrades that push this Camaro to its absolute maximum. Read on to get a detailed insight into the mods and upgrades installed on this Camaro!

Z28 Build
1994 Chevy Camaro Z28 is currently residing in Brazil and packs some of the best performance upgrades you can see on the cars in the USA. It features an aggressive cam profile with a K&N Aircharger system that feeds the thirsty 5.7L V8. When the going gets tough, a 150hp wet nitrous plate system delivers instant fury on demand, while big fuel injectors and a Wideband Fueltech system keep the air-fuel mixture dialed in perfectly.
The real game-changer comes with the complete T56 manual transmission swap from Hawks, adding the so much needed six-speed it deserves. 3.07 gearing is added to make sure all the power gets to the wheels without in the most effective way possible.
Up on the back the free-flow Magnaflow exhaust lets this LT1 breathe and sing its V8 song like a real muscle car.

Wheels & Tires
This Z28 sits mean and aggressive with a perfect low stance complemented with Corvette C6 Z06 wheels. Being wrapped in sticky 285/35/18 tires out back and 245/40/18 up front the wheels fill the fenders beautifully.
Energy Suspension urethane bushings keep everything tight and responsive front and back, giving this T-top Camaro the handling it needs with the NOS charged V8.

Exterior
What makes this build truly special is the incredible full T-top conversion. To our big surprise this Z28 started life as a hardtop coupe before undergoing the complex bodywork transformation that that only a few enthusiasts would dare attempt.
The precision and skill level needed to pull off this conversion prove the owner’s unquestionable dedication to this Camaro build.
To give this Camaro Z28 a more sporty look the owner decided to outfit it with a fully custom hand-made fiberglass body kit, as it was called in 2000s, a ground effects package which includes the front lip, rear lip, side skirts, and wing. Together they create a subtle yet tasteful performance appearance.

THe owner absolutely nailed it in the performance department with a perfect 10 points based on our build difficulty score, thanks to that nasty 150hp nitrous setup and the bulletproof T56 swap that makes this thing a proper street monster. The exterior also maxed out at 10 points – that insane T-top conversion alone shows this owner doesn’t mess around when it comes to serious bodywork.
