The hero of our today’s feature is a truly special MK3 Audi TT roadster transformed from stock to stunning by its passionate owner Martin from Rosenheim (Germany). What started life as a factory grey gen 3 TT roadster evolved into a real attention-grabber, combining a perfect stance, and subtle exterior and performance upgrades.
Read on as we dive into the unique details of this MK3 TT build and explore every modification that makes Martin’s yellow roadster truly one of a kind.

Why TT is so Cool
Audi TT is one of the most recognizable cars created by the German manufacturer, which remains in production since 1998. The sleek, compact design has captivated hundreds of thousands of open-top aficionados with its rounded design and impressive performance characteristics.
While the design of this one-of-a-kind car was made from scratch, some car guys may notice that proportions and the shape are vaguely reminiscent of Porsche 356.
The car shares the platform and the majority of the mechanical components with the A4, which makes it feel much more agile and easy to handle. Being powered by various naturally aspirated and TFSI turbocharged engines TT is available in the FWD layout or can be equipped with Audi’s famous Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
“The current 3rd generation Audi TT preserved the original rounded speedster proportions, yet features a completely reworked design with aggressive R8-inspired front fascia and muscular body lines.”

The current 3rd generation Audi TT preserved the original rounded speedster proportions, yet features a completely reworked design with aggressive R8-inspired front fascia and muscular body lines. The hero of our today’s feature Martin from Rosenheim, Bayern (Germany) couldn’t resist the charm of the 8S (MK3) TT and soon became an owner of this beautiful yellow roadster that you see on the pictures.

The Roadster Build
It started life in modest grey color, but at some point of its life, Martin decided to wrap it in an eye-catching satin Yellow metallic vinyl to give even more character to his favorite weekend ride. To proceed with personalization, he swapped up the front grille with the black TT-RS option and installed the facelift rear bumper with a performance-style rear diffuser to really drive that performance look home.

As you may have noticed from the stance of this car, it sits slightly closer to the ground on a set of lowering springs (30-millimeter drop from the non s-line springs and a 20 millimeter drop from the s-line springs). The wheels are stock, although they appear slightly wider thanks to the wheel hub spacers, which make them flush with the fenders.

To improve the performance of the car and make it sound a little more sporty it was decided to install a Sportscat downpipe.
Audi’s interior design is considered to be one of the best on the market so there isn’t much you can add or customize to keep it elegant and stylish, but Martin has found a pretty cool set of Aluminium Shift paddles that enhanced it in the right way.
