AMG-badged sports cars have always had a soft spot in the hearts of Mercedes-Benz fans and enthusiasts, starting from the good old C123 of the 80s till modern day C, E and S-Class models. Combining elegant Mercedes-Benz styling with subtle sporty touches and incredible performance by AMG, these cars have always stood out in the segment of luxury sports coupes.
Today’s feature is dedicated to this 4th generation W205 Mercedes C43 AMG modified by its owner from the UK, who took extra effort to improve its visual appeal and make it stand out among the coolest stance projects in the country.

Since this particular example is outfitted with a very potent 3.0L V6 engine that produces impressive 390 horsepower in stock form, there was no need to even think about performance upgrades. AMG’s tuned twin-turbo power is more than enough to satisfy the thirst of the most demanding drivers. The owner decided to spice up the looks of this car by improving the stance and adding a couple of subtle exterior add-ons that would highlight its sporty attitude.
One of the biggest changes in the car is certainly the suspension setup. Factory shocks and springs were replaced with an aftermarket suspension kit by Airlift, which allowed the owner to gain that radically low ride height without sacrificing driving comfort and performance.
The Airlift 3P management kit allows adjusting the ground clearance on the go to either flush the vehicle down for show mode or lift up and stiffen the suspension for a spirited drive during the weekend.
The wheel choice fell on a set of stunning 20×9 3SDM 008 custom wheels with silver aluminum finish that are reminiscent of the old school Ferrari design wheels. The air suspension allowed achieving the perfect wheel and tire fitment and position in the wheel arches.
To improve the ground-hugging look and enhance the muscular design of the C43, the owner decided to install a set of carbon fiber add-ons featuring the JL Motoring front splitter, CS Carbon side skirts, Unit 17 rear diffuser, and SB Carbon rear spoiler.

What really makes the car stand out exterior-wise is the electric blue body wrap installed over the original white paint.With the richly equipped AMG interior, there wasn’t really much room for modifications except for the audio system and upgraded steering wheel treated with carbon fiber touches.

Why did you choose this exact model for your project?
– I was looking at a lot of cars, I was a BMW guy but got offered an amazing deal on the C43 so thought I would just go for it and see how it goes.
What was the most difficult part of the build?
– Finding the parts that I liked, Carbon parts are from lots of different places to make the full splitter kit.
What do you love the most about your car?
– I have to say the Airlift set it off, haven’t seen many bagged c43’s.
