The Audi R8 has always attracted car enthusiasts with sophisticated taste and deep pockets. Sharing the chassis and majority of components, such as the engine and transmission, with the famous Lamborghini Gallardo, it’s no wonder that the R8 has truly extraordinary performance capabilities that surpass most regular sports cars.
The top-of-the-line version of the R8, equipped with the V10 5.2L engine, produces exceptional torque and horsepower right out of the box, with sound that matches the most iconic supercars from Italy.

The Build
Even though the exterior design of the R8 is a masterpiece of its own, the owner of the car we’re featuring today knew he needed something more to make his car truly special and employed famous Japanese tuner Liberty Walk to handle this aspect of his build.
Liberty Walk Body Kit
Being famous for outfitting the world’s best supercars such as Ferrari and Lamborghini with wide body kits and overfenders, the Liberty Walk company, run by Kato-san from Japan, knows its way around these beauties.
Their massive overfenders with exposed rivets and huge racing-style wings perform equally well at making modified car fans drool and making purists tear out their hair. Without any shadow of doubt, while being very contraversial, their parts definitel work best at turning cars into real attention grabbers both on the streets and at the tracks.
To perform a radical makeover, the owner of this red R8 decided to proceed with Liberty Walk’s complete body kit, which includes the front bumper diffuser, side diffuser, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear wing, and a set of front and rear overfenders that maximize the car’s width.
To achieve the signature Liberty Walk supercar style, a few more modifications were required. The factory suspension was replaced with an Airlift air suspension setup with the ability to adjust the ride height from show to performance driving settings.
One of the most important elements of this project was the three-piece wheels by Rotiform, custom-sized to tailor the fitment and give a finishing touch to this distinctive and truly special Audi R8 build.
