The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody is hands down the absolute pinnacle of American muscle car culture, looking menacing no matter stock or modified. With its insane supercharged 6.2L HEMI it tears up tires in the matter of seconds. What I appreciate most about this particular model is how it democratized the supercar performance in a practical four-door format, giving you the jaw-dropping acceleration and quarter-mile times that were reserved for drag builds and supercars.
When I stumbled upon this particular Hellcat build, its striking orange soda wrap contrasting against the menacing deep barrel custom wheels immediately caught my attention. Luckily, the owner was glad to chat about it and agreed to share the details behind his build, including the custom three-piece air suspension setup and full KNG Motorsports aero package. Read on to find out more about this build and get some inspiration for your own project!
Key Mods:
- Air suspension
- 20″ Custom Wheels
- Exterior add-ons

Hellcat Charger Build
Since the Hellcat already comes with everything a performance car fan may want or dream, there wasn’t much needed from the performance perspective. That’s why the owner decided to concentrate on the looks and stance.
Stance
To make that widebody look more flush to the ground and remain optimal ground clearance for daily driving, it was decided to replace the factory shocks and struts with air bags installed by Air Ride Equipment on all 4 corners.
This setup allowed to gain the so much needed drop and remain the Hellcat fully functional when high performance driving requires suspension stiffness and ground clearance.

Wheels
No stance project is perfect without a set of good-looking oversized custom wheels, and this modified Hellcat Charger build is no exception. The owner’s choice fell on a set of striking LD97 FORGED LD 14 Custom 3-piece Wheels with insanely deep barrels, wire spokes that remind classic BBS racing wheels and black finish which works as a perfect contrast to the bright orange exterior.
Exterior
Speaking of the exterior mods. Since this 2020 SRT Hellcat comes with the factory wide body package that’s roughly 3.3″ wider than stock, the owner didn’t need to do much changes to make the car look more muscular.
Among the custom touches he did are the Wicker Bill, Window Spoiler and Rear Diffuser, all by KNG Motorsports. One other cool exterior touch is the blacked out panel around the taillights which adds a few points to the overall custom look of this Hellcat along with the blacked out roof and hood.
“As any muscle car fanatic knows, there’s simply no replacement for displacement”.

Conclusion
Suspension dominates this build with a solid 8/10 score in terms of the build difficulty thanks to the comprehensive Air Ride bags that transforms the Hellcat’s stance while maintaining the dynamics needed to harness all 707 supercharged horses. The subtle exterior add-ons earn a respectable 4/10 with the KNG Motorsports aero package.
Since the Hellcat already has insane performance from the factory, the owner didn’t really need to do anything in the performance deparment, that’s why he focused monstly on the appearance and suspension works. As a result he’s got an absolute eye-cather car, that looks just as good as it performs.
