It’s hard to find a more famous JDM sports car nameplate than the Nissan Skyline. Thanks to the Gran Turismo and Need for Speed game franchises, it became an absolute icon for the kids of the ’90s who spent hours in front of screens racing them on the world’s coolest tracks. And it’s no surprise that these vehicles jumped in value during the last decade, leaving more conventional BMWs and Mercedes behind.
Our today’s feature is dedicated to this clean and awesome-looking 1993 Nissan Skyline GTS-T in the R33 body style, which perfectly preserves its original aesthetics.

R33 Underdog
While the R32 and R34 are the most hyped generations of the model, the R33 arguably remains the underdog and a less mainstream vehicle.
Perhaps it’s due to the less aggressive body lines or fewer appearances in popular games and media, but on the other hand, it has become more cherished by enthusiasts who know what this car is from a closer perspective.

GTS-T VS GT-R
The R33 GTS-T coupe was the slightly simplified version of the GT-R, equipped with rear-wheel drive instead of all-wheel drive. Among other differences was a slightly less powerful engine, equipped with a single turbo instead of the twin-turbo setup on the GT-R. It was still capable of producing 247 HP in stock form and could be tuned relatively easily to push that number over the 300 HP mark.

The exterior of this particular R33 remains relatively stock, with the addition of subtle touches like the front bumper splitter and rear diffuser.
The wheels are what make it truly special. They are the rare Nismo Rays LM GT1 forged multi-piece wheels, which were originally installed on the top-notch Nismo 400R special edition of the R33 GT-R.
