The JDM car section of the Specs & Mods resource was enhanced with the addition of the TunerDNA brand. It was launched in early 2021 as a niche online magazine dedicated to modified Japanese cars. In 2025, it became a part of SpecsAndMods.com with all of its exclusive features and interviews to continue showcasing the coolest builds and projects from the import car scene on a bigger scale.

The Content

Among TunderDNA feature cars were slammed VIP builds, track-ready Miata’s and Skylines and custom Toyotas to impress car nuts with sophisticated taste.

The brand quickly became known for its in-depth build features, spotlighting the hard work behind each project car. Whether it was a modified Subaru BRZ with a low stance and aggressive fitment or an S14 Nissan Silvia performance build tailored for drifting on twisty roads of Touge.

Their approach at emphasizing the stories and technical upgrades behind each build, remains the cornerstone of their contribution to the SpecsAndMods.com
